MACH Dual Staking

DODOchain MACH AVS come with the notion of "Dual Staking",whereby users can stake and restake tokens alongside ALT to earn rewards.

Supported Assets: DODO, reALT, ETH and other supported LSTs Note that the reward claim mechanism is a work in progress.

This dual stake setup is designed to be an interim solution until EigenLayer enables other non-ETH assets to be a part of the quorum for dual staking directly with EigenLayer.

User Guide#

Staking#

1.Please navigate to https://stake.altlayer.io/vaults/2/staking-pools, you will see three pools available for your selection as shown below:
a.DODO pool
b.ALT pool
c.ETH pool

2.Connect your Ethereum wallet and acknowledge the disclaimer. Please ensure tokens you wish to stake are in that wallet and that it has sufficient ETH to pay for gas.

3.Select a pool

a. DODO Pool

  • Approve the amount of DODO tokens that you wish to dual-stake. Wait for the “Approve” transaction to be confirmed before refreshing the page.

  • Stake the approved DODO for this launchpool. Wait for the “Stake” transaction to be confirmed before refreshing the page.

  • Congratulations! You have completed the DODO staking portion of the dual-staking launchpool process.

  • You can Unstake at any time on the https://stake.altlayer.io/portfolio page.

b. reALT Pool
You will be asked to execute the “Delegate” transaction to delegate your reALT to this Restaked ALT Pool.

c. ETH Pool
You will be brought to EigenLayer restaking UI where you can follow the steps below to start delegating restaked ETH to DODOchain MACH for this launchpool.

  • Connect your wallet and ensure you have already restaked your ETH. If you have not restaked your ETH, please first follow the steps in the EigenLayer’s restaking guide.
  • Start delegating your restaked ETH to your preferred operator by clicking on the “Manage” button associated with that participating operator in the operators list.
  • Click on the “Delegate” button on the Operator page to initiate the delegate transaction.
  • Confirm the transaction on your wallet and wait for the transaction to be processed. After which, you will see the “Delegated” tag as shown below.
  • Congratulations! You have completed the ETH restaking portion of the dual-staking launchpool process.

Claiming Rewards#

Dual-staking rewards distribution for launchpools is currently still work-in-progress.

When it is live, the claiming of rewards will be done on the https://stake.altlayer.io/rewards

Please note that there is no estimated APR displayed for launchpool dual-staking.
